Our location and directions
We're located in the quiet, leafy suburb of Hunters Home, just 1 minute from the lagoon and five minutes from the centre of Knysna with its picturesque waterfront, superb restaurants, boutiques and boat cruise terminals. Drive in the opposite direction and you can be standing on top of the famous Heads or walking barefoot on the beaches of Leisure Isle within 5 minutes. There are 2 local pub/restaurants within a couple of minutes of us and a further restaurant and café at the base of the Heads.
Knysna Golf Club is literally round the corner, the delights of the Pezula championship golf course & spa are a scenic 10-minute drive and the spectacular Jack Nicklaus course at Simola is just 15 minutes away.
With our easy access to the N2 highway, excursions to Knysna Elephant Park, Plettenberg Bay Game Reserve, Birds of Eden, Keurbooms River cruises, Keurbooms Strand, Tsitsikamma National Park, Brenton-on-Sea and Buffels Bay are a breeze!

Directions from George: Take the N2 through Knynsa town centre, passing Provincial Hospital on left. When road becomes a dual carriageway, move into the right hand lane, continue for approx 1k and turn right into George Rex Drive just after Caltex garage & Kwik Spar on right (signposted The Heads, Pezula, Leisure Isle.) Continue along George Rex. After the traffic lights, take 2nd turn on left (Howard Street, by Knysna Golf Course). Continue for 500m and take 1st turn on left (signposted Private Hospital) and IMMEDIATELY turn right into Lindsay Street. Armadillo Studios is exactly 500m up the lane on the right.
Directions from PE/Plettenberg Bay: When you come down the hill approaching Knysna on the N2, turn left into George Rex Drive (signposted The Heads, Pezula, Leisure Isle.)
